I love Japanese craft books (and have amassed quite a few) even though I can't understand a word! I would definitely stock up.

We have Uniqlo here in England (including a shop just 15 minutes walk from me) so I wonder if they have Uniqlo in Germany as well?

    Thank you, "Friends"!

Kristina, I wonder about Uniqlo in Germany--haven't looked into that yet. We've been to one in NYC, though.

Okay, so we don't live in Tokyo...

    • ...but "Texas to Yamaguchi" didn't have quite the same ring to it. No matter where we are, we're living cozy. For now, it's an uninsulated Japanese mini-castle; in the future, it'll be a country house in Germany. I'm keepin' house happily amidst a family life of part-time homeschooling, traveling, sports, unfinished craft projects, good food and music, and overflowing bookcases. Just the way we like it.
